1968 memo re use of herbicides listed in the FSC

Armed Forces Pest Management Board 1968

So the Armed Forces Pesticide Board, who as we saw kept track of the use of pesticides/herbicides throughout the decades, says here in 1968 that anything in the Federal Stock Catalog can be used and if in the Federal Stock Catalog are considered Standard items!

Federal Supply Catalog FSC Group 68, dated April 1971
Herbicide Orange was considered a standard item according to the Armed Forces Pesticide Board

Thank you to the researcher who found this Federal Stock Catalog at NARA. She spent painstaking hours and hours looking for proof.

Herbicide Orange could be ordered by any federal facility to be used for weed management by anyone as it was, according to the Armed Forces Pesticide Board, a “standard” item in the Federal Stock Catalog.
